Menifee road construction update: Feb. 11

MENIFEE -- The City has project and construction updates to share with the community:

Murrieta Road – Near Salt Creek

Night work has been temporarily cancelled this week on EMWD’s Murrieta Road Transmission Pipeline Project in the area of Murrieta Road and Newport Road. Overnight work will occur Sunday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. when the schedule resumes and is expected to continue for the next several weeks. McCall Boulevard – Encanto Road and Oak Hurst Avenue – Resurfacing Project

Striping work has been delayed as the contractor continues to install detection loops in the project area intersections. Striping work will be finalized in the upcoming week.

Goetz Road – North of Kabian Park – SCE Utility Undergrounding Project

Work continues on this utility line undergrounding project. While there are lane closures in place on Goetz Road, traffic flaggers are on site to maintain safe northbound and southbound conditions during the project.

Scott Road/Leon Road – Intersection Improvements

Paving work is expected to begin this weekend at the intersection. This work is not expected to impact travel lanes in any direction.
