A male juvenile died Sunday in a single-vehicle accident in southeast Menifee, authorities said.
The 17-year-old was driving a vehicle that left the roadway and struck a wall near the intersection of Briggs Road and Curzulla Road, according to a Menifee Police Department news release. The accident occurred about 11:38 a.m.
Despite life-saving efforts, the male died at the scene. The investigation revealed that the vehicle drove onto the dirt roadway and lost control, striking a wall. The road was closed for several hours. The exact cause of the accident remains under investigation.
