Isabelle Inoyatova, a fourth grader at Taawila Elementary School, was honored by the Menifee Union School District this week for winning the championship of the district’s Virtual Spelling Bee.

Isabelle was joined by district superintendent Jennifer Root (far left), board president Jackie Johansen (second from left) and assistant superintendent Kimberly Huesing (far right). Eighth grader Elouise Briones of Harvest Hill STEAM Academy was also recognized as first runner-up.

Isabelle correctly the spelled the word physicists to win the final round and defeat students from all grades. As the district champion, Isabelle will advance to the Riverside County Spelling Bee.
