Five Santa Rosa Academy girls wrestlers advance to CIF

All five members of the girls wrestling team at Santa Rosa Academy performed well enough in the Sunbelt League finals last week to qualify for the CIF individual tournament, set for Friday and Saturday at Paloma Valley High School.

Sadie Vernon won the league championship at 113 pounds. Second-place finishers were Sophie Sims (121), Gracie Raxter (137) and Kaelyn Baker (189). Finn Pierce placed third at 143 pounds.
