City update on road projects: Feb. 18

The City of Menifee has project and construction updates to share with the community:

Murrieta Road – Near Newport Road

Night work on EMWD’s Murrieta Road Transmission Pipeline Project at the intersection of Murrieta Road and Newport Road will resume Sunday. The night work will occur Sunday through Thursday between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. for several weeks. Please visit www.emwd.org/MurrietaRoad for additional updates on this project.

McCall Boulevard – Encanto Road and Oak Hurst Avenue – Resurfacing Project

Striping work is now in process and expected to be completed by the end of the week.

Scott Road/Leon Road – Intersection Improvements

Paving at this intersection has been completed. Roadway striping is scheduled to take place this week and the traffic signals are expected to be energized by the end of February.

Holland Road from Murrieta Road to Anna Lane

Public Works crews will be performing street maintenance on Holland Road between Murrieta Road and Anna Lane beginning at 7 a.m. today. Work will include roadway grinding, addressing potholes, and roadway striping. Message boards have already been placed in the construction area to notify residents of the upcoming work. Traffic control will be in place and partial lane closures should be expected in the area.
