Three men were arrested at a Menifee residence this week on charges ranging from carjacking to narcotics related offenses, authorities said.
Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and special enforcement officers from the Murrieta Police Department conducted a probation compliance search at a residence in the 33000 block of Zeiders Road about 2 p.m. on Wednesday, according to a Sheriff’s Department press release. Scott Coco, 27, was arrested at that location on suspicion of carjacking and robbery in connection with a Sept. 6, 2021 carjacking in Temecula, capping an investigation that lasted several months.
Coco had several other felony warrants, including being a parolee at large.
In addition, when officers arrived at the residence to conduct the probation compliance check, an officer attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle leaving the property with expired registration. The driver, identified as Justin Denhoed, refused to stop. After returning to the property and fleeing on foot, the suspect was found hiding inside a trailer on the property.
Denhoed was arrested for an outstanding warrant. Further investigation revealed the vehicle in fled in was reported stolen out of the Winchester area.
An additional subject on the property, Jeffery Jones, was arrested for narcotics related offenses.
