Supervisors continue Valley-Wide public hearing to Jan. 25

The Riverside County Board of Supervisors today granted the request of the City of Menifee and continued until Jan. 25 a public hearing to approve Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District's Master Plan.

City manager Armando Villa requested the continuance in a letter to the board, saying that Menifee residents hadn't had ample time to respond to the plan, which he says includes inappropriate raises in tax assessments to residents in Valley-Wide's District east of the 215 Freeway.
