Menifee man dies in solo motorcycle accident on 15 Freeway

A Menifee man died today in a solo collision on the 15 Freeway near Magnolia Avenue in Corona, the California Highway Patrol reported.

David Vinci, 66, was identified as the victim in the collision, which took place about 4:06 a.m., according to the Coroner’s report. The CHP reported that the victim was riding a motorcycle when he left the roadway edge of the northbound Magnolia Avenue exit ramp and struck a street sign. The impact caused the driver to be ejected from the bike.

Vinci was pronounced dead at the scene. No other details were available.
