Construction continues on fourth middle school in Menifee

Construction continues on the fourth middle school in Menifee Union School District, being built in the north section of the Audie Murphy housing development.

The school will cover over 100,000 square feet on a 17-acre lot and is scheduled to open for the 2023-24 school year. The school administration offices and classroom will be under one roof, with a separate building serving as the gymnasium and multi-purpose room.

The new school will help serve the rapidly growing population of students in the district, which now has more than 10,000 students. Menifee Valley Middle School enrollment is 1,244 students, Bell Mountain Middle School has 1,002 students, and Hans Christian Middle School has 721 students, according to the latest MUSD enrollment figures.
