Tree lighting event includes celebrity meet and greet

MENIFEE -- The City of Menifee is excited to announce a celebrity Meet and Greet at the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony this Saturday.

Special National Football League Alumni Group guests Travis Davis, Sherman Cocroft, and Paul Bartelt are joining the holiday festivities to give back locally. Attendees can toss a football and hear about the former NFL players’ journeys from their youth, to college, to the NFL.

Attendees can also stop by to chat with and receive autographs from Comedy Central comedian and BizMeetz founder/CEO, Rocky Osborn, as well as professional golfer, JS Golf Enterprises founder, and 2017 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Awardee Jaime A. Sanchez Jr. You don’t want to miss this experience!

The festivities will take place at Mt. San Jacinto College, located at 28237 La Piedra Road from 4-8 p.m. The event will include games, crafts for kids, a lighted wonderland with numerous photo opportunities, and snow for sliding! For admission to the snow area, canned good items are being requested to be donated to the Menifee Valley Community Cupboard and/or an unwrapped gift to be donated to Santa’s Workshop.

The first 500 guests will receive a free ornament. Entertainment for the evening will be provided by local community groups along with a special appearance from Santa. This event is FREE to the public and open for all ages.
