A huge crowd welcomed in the holiday season Saturday night during the Menifee Christmas Tree Lighting event at Mt. San Jacinto College.
Mayor Bill Zimmerman and the Menifee City Council welcomed the crowd, which included adults and lots of children who played in the snow, checked out the flying snow flurries and vendor booths, and got a special visit from Santa. Then everyone counted down to the lighting of the Christmas tree.

It is so nice to see the children out in Menifee. Also like that it is on the East side of the freeway - as everything seems to happen on the West Side of the freeway.
