Firefighters remained on scene Tuesday night after knocking down a fire in an outside storage shed holding approximately 900 bales of hay, authorities said.
The fire was reported at 5:05 p.m. in the 33000 block of Nancy Lane in Menifee, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. Several neighbors responded with photos of the fire from their back yards, a few hundred yards south of Scott Road.
No injuries were reported.
