Local man charged with sexual assault at Menifee home

A local man faces a charge of sexual assault on a 15-year-old girl following an investigation of attacks allegedly committed at his Menifee residence, authorities said.

Noel Ramos, 47, is accused of committing lewd acts against the girl on several occasions at his home in the last year, according to a Menifee Police Department news release. Police served a search warrant in the 32800 block of Heversham Court Tuesday morning and arrested Ramos on a charge of assault with intent to commit rape.

Ramos is a prominent church member of Iglesia Cristiana Y Gracia in Hemet, police said. Menifee PD detectives are trying to find more information or talk to other potential victims. Ramos was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center and was released on bail today. He faces a Feb. 2, 2022 court date in Murrieta, according to jail records.
