Injured horse rescued by airlift near Lake Skinner

Here's video from Riverside County Animal Services showing the airlift rescue Friday of a horse that threw its rider and fell into a ravine northeast of Lake Skinner. The rider, suffered minor injuries, camped overnight in the ravine with the horse until winds subsided and the rescue could be made. The horse also suffered only minor injuries. Cal Fire and several other agencies took part in the rescue.
