The Heritage High School girls tennis and boys water polo teams advanced with victories in the CIF-SS playoffs this week.

The tennis team scored a 12-6 victory at Providence High of Santa Barbara on Wednesday and will be at home today for a 2 p.m. match against Garden Grove. Heritage is 12-6 overall and Garden Grove is 17-2.

The Patriots boys water polo team beat Santa Fe 11-2 at home on Thursday and will play at Lakewood in the quarterfinals on Saturday. Heritage is 10-6 overall and Lakewood is 16-11.
