The City of Menifee has announced the addition of two private outdoor markets to serve the community.

The Sun City Farmers Market and Menifee Trading Post Night Market will include local mom and pop vendors and small businesses. The intent is to provide new shopping choices for residents and regional visitors, according to a news release.

“These fun marketplace opportunities provide our local micro/cottage and small businesses with accessible ways to sell their goods offline at family-friendly events for our residents and visitors to enjoy local products and food,” said Menifee Mayor Bill Zimmerman.

The Sun City Farmers Market is a morning farmers market run that is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sun City Civic Association, located at 26850 Sun City Blvd. The new farmers market has already been operating and is growing fast. There are openings for new vendors to help provide healthy eating options and produce.

This market features fresh options such as home baked treats, handcrafted goods, healthy pet food and goods, canned jams, Argentina empanadas, fresh organic fruit and vegetables, and more. To participate as a vendor, apply online at https://www.suncityfarmersmarket.com/ or contact 951-795-0044 for more information.

The Menifee Trading Post will take place at Mercato Del Sole (the Ralphs shopping center) in the parking lot behind Living Spaces (30141 Antelope Road.). The night market is on the third Friday of every month, beginning this Friday from 5-9 p.m.

The night market features over 30 curated vendors with various artisan wares, modern goods, handcrafted products, along with unique and flavorful food options. The market is hosted by Simply Made Local.

To participate as a vendor, visit the Simply Made Local website.
