Ivy League champion Paloma Valley High School will be at home against Temecula Valley Thursday at 6 p.m. in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 2 girls volleyball playoffs, the CIF office announced today.
The Wildcats enter the playoffs with a 10-8 record. They won the Ivy League title with a 7-1 record. Temecula Valley, the No. 3 team from the Southwestern League, is 7-7 overall.
Paloma Valley’s stat leaders include junior Alexa Rosales (144 kills), senior Tami Ritchie (127 kills), senior Rachel Lowe (112 kills, 17 blocks), and freshman Grace Liesemeyer (124 digs).
Heritage High finished fourth in the Ivy League with a 3-5 record but made the Division 7 playoffs as an at-large team with a 13-10 overall mark. They will play at Prep League co-champion Mayfield (27-10) in a 6 p.m. first-round match on Thursday.
