Nadine Matthews honored as Outstanding Citizen of Month

Nadine Matthews was honored as Outstanding Citizen of the Month by the Menifee City Council on Wednesday.

Matthews works tirelessly to support the residents of the Palmilla community, serving as its HOA president. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she organized efforts to check on shut-in neighbors and coordinated grocery store runs by volunteers. She also coordinated an effort by residents to sew facemasks.

Matthews received a plaque of recognition from the City of Menifee.
