Wendy's is next business to open in Menifee Town Center

Wendy's fast food restaurant will be one of the first businesses in Menifee Town Center to open when it holds its grand opening Saturday.

The second Wendy's in Menifee, this one is located in the far west site of the Center Pointe Shopping Center, bordering Newport Road. Gina Gonzalez, economic development director for the City of Menifee, this week provided an update on some of the other businesses taking shape in the center.

Construction of Sprouts Farmers Market, located at the back of the Center Pointe Shopping Center, is complete. Stocking of inventory and training of employees will begin in the next few days, but the store probably won't be open to the public for about a month, Gonzalez said. Other openings expected in early November are Olive Garden restaurant, Monsta Snow dessert shop, and Tacos and Tequila.

On the other side of Town Center Drive in Menifee Plaza, Dave's Hot Chicken is scheduled to open Oct. 15 and Chronic Tacos might open shortly before then, Gonzalez said.
