Dog Daze costume contest returns to Aldergate Park

After a one-year hiatus, the annual Dog Daze Canine Festival and Costume Contest will return to Aldergate Park on Oct. 2 from 9-11 a.m.

Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District sponsors the annual event. It’s an opportunity for pet loving friends to gather at the park and show off their dogs for the contest judges. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes and there will raffle prizes as well. Food and pet vendors will be in attendance.
