A public hearing will be held Aug. 25 at City Hall regarding a proposed commercial center for the northeast corner of Newport Road and Bradley Road.
The Crossroads project calls for 103,274 feet of commercial space on an 8.61-acre site. The following buildings are proposed:
Specialty grocer, 37,400 square feet
Shops 1, 8,200 square feet
Shops 2, 8,500 square feet with drive-thru
Office/retail, 7,750 square feet
Office 2, 36,924 square feet
Restaurant, 4,500 square feet
The complex proposes 404 parking spaces as well.
The public hearing will take place during the Menifee Planning Commission meeting at 6 p.m. on Aug. 25 at City Hall, 29844 Haun Road. The proposed action includes adopting a declaration that the project will not create a negative environmental impact.
Prior to the public hearing, there is a 20-day public review period, which began on July 29 and concludes on Aug. 18. To view the information electronically for the proposed project, contact the Community Development Department office at 951-672-6777 Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Public comment will also be taken during the public hearing.
