A coach on the Liberty High School football staff who also is an Air Force Captain stationed at March Air Reserve Base is seeking supplies including diapers, pull-ups, and wipes for children to be delivered on an upcoming flight of his C-17 Globemaster III crew.
Captain Tyler P. Hamill and his crew will leave Sept. 1 for locations where children have been misplaced due to the recent events in Afghanistan and surrounding areas. Donated items will be hand carried onto the C-17 and personally flown to where they are needed most.
“Due to recent events, many parents with small children have become separated from what little they could carry or were forced to flee with only the clothes they were wearing and the family they were with,” stated an announcement about the Diaper Drive.
“Between Aug. 25 and Aug, 31, if you could help us make this uncertain transition for these family's lives a little better, we ask that you to please assist us in donating any unused diapers, pull-ups, and/or wipes to:
Liberty High School 32255 Leon Rd
Winchester, CA 92596
OR

Where are these supplies being taken? Just curious as I have been wondering where the people being evacuated are being taken to.
