Don, Teddi Vesey honored as Menifee Citizens of Month

Local residents and community volunteers Don and Teddi Vesey were honored by the Menifee City Council last week as Citizens of the Month.

Don Vesey served on the county advisory committee prior to Menifee's incorporation. He also served four years on the Menifee Planning Commission. In addition, he serves his home community of Quail Valley as the president of the Quail Valley Community Group.

Teddi Vesey was instrumental in the creation of Garden Path Ministries,which provides resources for women preparing to leave the prison system. The group leads Bible studies and provides haircuts, clothes and counseling for inmates.
