Menifee Police Chief Pat Walsh and local business owner Chiara Santi were approved on Thursday as new board members for Santa Rosa Academy.
Walsh and Santi are filling the vacancies left by two board members who are stepping down as community representatives after several years of service. Dan Temple, a retired Sergeant with the California Highway Patrol, has served on the board since his children began attending SRA in 2006. Ben Diederich is an attorney and moved his legal practice to Menifee more than a decade ago. He also serves on the Menifee Planning Commission.
SRA board members serve voluntarily with no compensation for their services.
"We are deeply grateful for Mr. Temple’s and Mr. Diederich’s years of selfless service to the school, and are excited to welcome Chief Walsh and Mrs. Santi to the wonderful Santa Rosa Academy community,” said Dr. Robert Hennings, executive director of Santa Rosa Academy.
