Pierfax, Woodley, Benson named to All-CIF basketball team

Mya Pierfax and Sydney Woodley of Paloma Valley High School and McKenna Benson of Heritage High were named to the All-CIF girls basketball teams in their respective divisions.

Pierfax and Woodley, named to the CIF-SS Division 2A team, earned the award for the second straight season. Pierfax averaged 15.7 points per game and Woodley averaged 16.6 points and 10.1 rebounds for the Wildcats, who compiled a 13-5 record and advanced all the way to the CIF State Southern Regional semifinals.

Benson was named to the CIF-SS Division 5AA team representing Heritage, which placed third in the Inland Valley League.
