News release from the City of Menifee:
MENIFEE -- The City of Menifee will fully return to its in-person schedule beginning Monday, June 28, with facilities open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
In-person meetings will also welcome guests at full capacity without social distancing requirements. Virtual services will still be available to provide businesses and residents options for how they do business with the City. As the state of California and Riverside County fully open, the City is excited to return to its full in-person hours after operating with modified schedules throughout the pandemic.
Armando G. Villa, Menifee city manager, expressed his gratitude to both residents and staff for their flexibility, creativity, and resilience over the past year.
"Throughout the pandemic, our goal has always been to serve our residents, businesses, and developers as conveniently as possible, while keeping the community safe. The community’s support and willingness to adapt to virtual services and then modified in-person has been incredible. I also want to thank our Menifee team, who have continuously innovated in order to provide the service our residents deserve," shared Villa.
The City is taking precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, even while opening to the public. Safety measures have been made at all of the City’s facilities and modifications to keep both the public and staff safe and will be in effect as City buildings are fully reopened.
The City is proud to still offer its innovative virtual services in conjunction with the in-person hours. From the very onset of the pandemic, the City of Menifee was able to quickly transition to full "Zero Stop Shop' virtual services in order to keep Menifee moving forward. The City is still encouraging residents and customers to use its convenient virtual "Zero Stop Shop" services and visit the City’s Virtual City Hall webpage, which includes virtual permit resources and information on project processes for all stages of development, as well as information on Community Services programming, and business resources. In addition, enhanced services on the Menifee Permit Portal allows users 24/7 access to submit plans, schedule inspections, make payments, get permits, track their project, and find records all from a single online web platform.
Beginning on Monday, June 28, in-person hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Menifee City Hall (29844 Haun Road), Menifee Community Services Department Administrative Offices (29995 Evans Road), and the Menifee Police Department Lobby (29714 Haun Road).
