In the first big public event in Menifee since the COVID-19 pandemic, thousands of residents attended the annual Independence Day celebration at Wheatfield Park and the Mt. San Jacinto College parking lot on Saturday. The festival included food trucks, small business vendors, a Kids Fun Zone and a 17-minute fireworks show.
