The Paloma Valley High School boys and girls wrestling teams are performing well as an abbreviated season winds down.
The boys team went undefeated in dual meets in winning its fourth straight league title. After a nonleague meet at Shadow Hills on Tuesday, the Wildcats face two-time CIF Division 5 champion South Torrance on Saturday. Paloma Valley is ranked seventh in Division 1.
The girls team placed second in league and is ranked ninth in CIF.
The first round of postseason dual meet competition is May 25 for the boys and May 26 for the girls. The boys team is guaranteed entry and likely will host the first round, said coach Luis Robles. The girls must wait until brackets are released May 20 to see if they made it to the postseason.
