The Paloma Valley High School boys volleyball team advanced to the second round of the CIF Division 3 playoffs with a 3-1 victory over University High of Irvine Tuesday night.

Jared Crabbe had 11 kills, Cole Kass 10 and Jeffrey Hanmer 9 for the Wildcats, who won by scores of 25-14, 20-25, 25-20, 25-23. They remain undefeated at 9-0 and will play host to Foothill in the second round Thursday at 5 p.m.

Elijah Acuna had 4 blocks and Hanmer had 3, while Zachary Banuelos led the team in digs with 13.
