Skate park offers Sunday hours for roller skates, rollerblades

Audie Murphy Ranch Skate Park is open for expanded hours of 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. during spring break this week, and more expanded services are coming on Sunday, City of Menifee officials announced.

On Sundays beginning April 12, participants on roller skates and rollerblades will be allowed to use the park from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The City has received frequent requests for use of these alternatives to skateboards.

Full pads and a helmet are required for safety reasons. Residents can sign up for a day pass for $3 or an annual pass for $10. Non-residents can get a day pass for $10 or an annual pass for $100.
