Police investigating shooting that injured one female

Menifee Police are investigating a shooting that left an adult female with non-life-threatening injuries this morning.

Police responded at 10:49 a.m. to the 25700 block of Bundy Canyon Road to reports of multiple shots fired. Officers discovered the victim with a gunshot wound. She is in stable condition at a local hospital.

According to Lt,. Heriberto Gutierrez, it appears to be an isolated incident in which the suspect knows the victim. A motive for the shooting remains under investigation. No one is in custody at this point, but police said there is no immediate danger to the community. There are no road closures related to this case.
