The Menifee Interfaith and Community Service Council invites the public to a National Day of Prayer event May 6 at 11 a.m. at Central Park, 30268 Civic Plaza Drive, in Menifee Town Center.
Menifee Police Chief Pat Walsh will give the keynote address. Mayor Bill Zimmerman and Mayor Pro Tem Lesa Sobek will offer prayers, along with several local pastors and community leaders. A band has been formed by three interfaith organizations and will provide live music.
