A Menifee resident for over 15 years, HIS Light Energy owner Mark Harrell is a seasoned expert in the field of renewable energy. He started his career as the first employee of Horizon Solar, then moved on to build several other large solar companies. He also worked on the focus group for the HERO program, later named Renovate America, a PACE program (Property Assessed Clean Energy). He assisted in creating specific products and services for homeowners and commercial properties seeking financial assistance.
This led to his creation of many public relations events, group discussions, meetings for Q and A, journalistic opportunities, trade shows and public speaking opportunities. Mark always wanted to figure out a way churches and nonprofits could utilize federal tax credits and depreciation. Creating HIS Light Energy was the solution.
Mark supports the City of Menifee, the new police department, our military service members and the local churches.
