Santa Rosa Academy announces school reopening dates

Santa Rosa Academy's COVID-19 Plan and Checklist has been approved by the state and the school has announced dates for students to return to campus.

The county portion of the application was returned for a few additions, said Community Relations Director Andie Pasolini, but the revised plan has been submitted and is expected to be approved shortly. SRA administrators sent out the attached document to students today about reopening plans, which use a staggered schedule to return students to campus.

Kindergarten and TK students are scheduled to return March 15. First and second graders will return the following week, on March 22. Third through fifth graders are scheduled to return April 5.

The return dates for middle and high school students won't be official until the county's adjusted COVID-19 case rate falls below 7 per 100,000 residents. That rate was 16.6 last week and is expected to fall further when numbers are updated on Tuesday. If all goes well, middle school students will return on April 12 and high school students on April 19.
