Many residents have enjoyed the recently opened Salt Creek Trail, a four-mile stretch of trail in Menifee that will eventually stretch all the way to Hemet. The trail, which can be accessed at Antelope Road and Aldergate Drive or at Goetz Road north of Newport Road, is open to hikers, joggers and bikers. Motorized vehicles are not allowed.
For more information in the Salt Creek Trail, see our previous story here. And if you have access to Facebook, here is a video produced by county officials of the recent ribbon cutting ceremony, including the dedication of portions of the trail to longtime County Trails Commission members Lynn Mattocks and Marty Rosen.

I'm riding and really enjoying the Salt Creek River Trail. Thank You, Menifee for going forward with this.
