Menifee woman dies in traffic collision in Perris

The Coroner’s Office has identified a Menifee woman as the victim in a fatal traffic collision Sunday in the city of Perris.

Lynne Brown, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which occurred about 2 p.m. near the intersection of 4th Street and Park Avenue, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release. Brown, the driver of a white Hyundai Accent, suffered major injuries. Life-saving measures at the scene were unsuccessful.

The driver of a BWM 328i was transported to a local hospital in serious condition. No arrests have been made, but the investigation is ongoing.
