Travis Reinhold honored with 'Kindness in action' award

A 13-year-old boy from Menifee was honored with a “Kindness in Action” award by the owner of Blitzer’s Premium Frozen Yogurt Thursday.

City of Menifee officials joined Blitzer’s owner Rhonda Copp in honoring Travis Reinhold. Since he was in the first grade, Travis has been holding food and toy drives for families in need at Christmas and other times. He held a drive for Wendy Miller, a local fire captain who has been battling cancer the past two years.

Travis’ most recent Christmas drive benefited 13 families and over 30 children.
