A notice is hereby given that the City of Menifee will be accepting applications for the following Commissions and Committees:
Planning Commission
Parks, Recreation and Trails Commission
Measure DD Oversight Committee
Senior Advisory Committee (District 1, District 3 & Mayor)
Interested persons may submit their application to the City Clerk Department. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2020 and the positions will be filled on or after Jan. 6, 2021. Eligibility for these offices and information regarding eligibility can be found by calling the City Clerk’s Department at 951-672-6777.
The positions will require attendance at regularly scheduled monthly meetings and other special meetings as called, and the eligibility will require that the person must be a current city resident, a registered voter, and not be a member of any other city commission, city office or a city employee.
Applicants for the Senior Advisory Committee are also required to be 55 years or older and live in the respective districts of their appointing City Council member. The individuals selected to serve will take an oath and agree to an ethics code of conduct.
