Traffic signals at Menifee Road intersections near completion

 Installation is almost complete on two new traffic signals installed for intersections on Menifee Road.

The signals will soon be operable at Menifee Road and Holland Road, and at Menifee Road and Camino Cristal. When school is in session, the intersection at Menifee Road and Holland Road -- currently a four-way stop -- is particularly busy because of pedestrian and motorist traffic.

These projects were identified as priorities in last year's update of the five-year Capital Improvement Project program (2019-2024). A total of $475,000 was allocated for each of the two projects, according to that city document. A third traffic signal planned for Menifee Road and La Piedra Road is in the design stage.
