City plans virtual programs for Emergency Prep Week

News release from the City of Menifee about Emergency Preparedness Week, Oct. 13-15:

MENIFEE – The City of Menifee encourages the public to participate in our third annual “Emergency Preparedness Week.”

Please join us for a week of virtual presentations using Ring Central. Emergency Preparedness week will begin Tuesday, Oct. 13 through Friday, Oct. 16. The virtual events are free to all who wish to participate and no registration is required.

Workshops throughout the week aim to provide residents and businesses with resources to prepare for disasters by creating an emergency kit, discussing active shooter preparedness, and community preparedness. Presentations will be led by groups including the Menifee Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), Menifee Police Department, and the American Red Cross.
