The former Fire Station 7 has been converted to a city maintenance yard on Bradley Road. |
A construction agreement for the exterior phase of improvements to be made at the City of Menifee Public Works Maintenance and Operations Center was approved recently by the City Council.
The MOC, located on Bradley Road just north of McCall Boulevard, was previously Fire Station 7, until a new station opened on Bradley Road near Cherry Hills Boulevard in January 2018. Since then, the Public Works Department has moved into the old location and has completed an interior renovation including retrofitted office space, conference rooms and a garage remake.
Plans for the exterior renovation include, according to city documents, a covered structure for equipment maintenance; materials storage; a new trash enclosure; landscaping; drainage improvements; and electrical conduits for future yard lighting.
The construction bid was awarded to All American Asphalt, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $287,806. The estimated completion date is Nov. 27, 2020.
