The Menifee Police Department today introduced its first K9 team on the Menifee PD Facebook page.
K9 Dino and his handler, Officer Brooks, will begin a six-week training course together before beginning patrol in Menifee. Brooks is an experienced handler. K9 Dino was given that name because he's as big as a dinosaur, according to the Facebook post. In reality, he is a 14-month-old German Shepherd.
