Menifee man dies from gunshots after Moreno Valley report

A Menifee man died from gunshot wounds following a report of shots fired in a Moreno Valley neighborhood on Sunday, authorities said.

Alfredo Salazar, 26, arrived at a local hospital suffering from gunshot wounds shortly after Sheriff's deputies responded at 10:46 p.m. to the report of shots fired near the 22000 block of Adrienne Avenue in Moreno Valley. Life-saving measures were taken at the hospital but the victim died of his injuries.
