Announcement from the City of Menifee:
Construction Alert: The intersection of Scott Road and Murrieta Road will be under construction (beginning Sept. 21) for the installation of new traffic signals.
The City of Menifee appreciates the community’s understanding as we install this upgrade. Work will take place from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. and should be completed by mid-December.
Currently, the intersection of Scott Road and Murrieta Road is controlled by three-way stop signs. With increased traffic levels, there is often congestion during peak hours of the day. This project will remove the stop signs and install new traffic signals, which should make traffic flow much smoother after completion.
Please remember that Scott Road crests at this intersection. Drivers should always use caution while traveling through this area, obey the speed limit, follow any temporary road signs, and watch out for merging traffic and construction activities. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to bring you smoother traffic soon!
