Two Menifee men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a Romoland resident and injuring of another man six months ago, authorities said today.
Isaac Delarosa, 18 (left), was arrested Wednesday and booked for participation in the Feb. 9 murder of 23-year-old Jaime Reyes, according to a Sheriff's Department news release. He faces a felony murder charge and is scheduled to appear in Riverside court on Monday.
Kenneth Harmon, 21 (below right), was arrested on Aug. 4 in connection with the same crime. He faces five felony charges, including first degree murder, attempted murder and felony in possession of a firearm. His court date today was continued to Sept. 8.
Deputies from the Perris Sheriff's Station responded at 5:12 p.m. Feb. 9 to the report of an assault with great bodily injury in the 28000 block of Sparacio Road. They found two males inside a vehicle with traumatic injuries.
One of the males survived, but Reyes died of his injuries.
