Menifee 24/7 to host City Council Candidates Forum Sept. 18

Menifee 24/7 has invited all seven candidates for positions on the Menifee City Council to participate in an online Candidates Forum to be broadcast on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, this will be a virtual event. However, as is our tradition for candidate forums, residents will be allowed to submit questions in advance for candidates to address. Each candidate will be allowed to make opening and closing statements and will take turns answering questions related to the City of Menifee.

This event will be prerecorded via Zoom call for broadcast Sept. 18. So far, five of the seven candidates have accepted the invitation to participate: Mayoral candidates Keith Davis, Ricky Estrada and Bill Zimmerman; District 1 candidate Robert Karwin; and District 3 candidate Lesa Sobek.
