City Council candidate statement for Cecilia Truman

Editor's note: Menifee 24/7 has profiled six candidates for positions on the Menifee City Council in November. The seventh and final candidate is Cecilia Truman, who is a candidate for the Menifee City Council District 3 seat. Truman has not responded to multiple requests for an interview. Following is her official candidates statement, which can be found on the City of Menifee website and will be printed in the Voters Guide.



I ask for your vote this Nov. 3! I will fight for my fellow Menifee residents! I will battle for your freedoms, education, faith and livelihood! I will BEST serve our great community with absolute passion for your cares and concerns.

I have been married 27 years and am the proud mom of three successful young men. I have lived in this valley for 25 years and I chose Menifee as my long-term homestead. Throughout this time, I have worked in real estate, owned small businesses, and home schooled for 15 years, graduating all three of my boys. I pledge to uphold The Constitution, keep the community safe, be fiscally conservative, vote for school choice, defend and support our first responders and police and promote small business!

My experience as a business woman has taught me to prioritize and manage finances, administrate accounts, maintain business relationships and serve customers with excellence! I believe in low taxation and cutting pork spending so that Menifee residents are kept safe and commerce is able to grow. Finally, my commitment to family has taught me the value of compassion, perseverance and hard work! Voting for me is voting for family, community and country!
