Firefighters contained a 2-acre vegetation fire at Menifee Road and San Jacinto Avenue in Nuevo this morning.
The fire was reported at 11:10 a.m., according to Cal Fire Riverside. The fire was contained between retardant lines and the road. Crews remained on scene for about four hours for cleanup. No injuries or structure damage was reported.
