Peaceful setting on the shore of Menifee Lakes

It has been a busy day in Menifee with hard news accounts of three fires, a serious pedestrian traffic accident, and more about the impact of COVID-19 on residents and school reopening plans. We decided it was time for a calming photo like the one sent to us by Aaron Heffelfinger, who captured this beautiful scene looking across Menifee Lakes on the morning of July 4.
