July 1 COVID-19 report: Menifee stats still escalating

The number of confirmed cases in Menifee increased by 18 in today's COVID-19 report by the Riverside County Health Department to a total of 345. Reported cases of COVID-19 in Menifee since Friday has increased by 72. That's 21 percent of the total number of cases reported in Menifee since mid March.

Here are the COVID-19 numbers reported on Wednesday, July 1 by the Riverside County Health Department:

Total individuals tested: 237,919 (increase of 7,027)

Total confirmed cases: 18,041 (increase of 745)

Total deaths: 463 (increase of 6)

Confirmed cases in Menifee: 345 (increase of 18)

Deaths in Menifee: 6 (no change)

Hospitalized: 417 (increase of 14)

Number in ICU: 117 (increase of 8)

Number recovered: 8,046 (increase of 192)
